Barbie Storage Board

barbie storage board

As a little girl (with two sisters) growing up in the late 80s/early 90s, we had a LOT of Barbie dolls. They (and all their accessories) were just all jumbled up in a box together. This sort of storage system from City of Creative Dreams would have been (and still would be) perfect for storing all those dolls!

Chevron Painted Bathroom Floor

Chevron Painted Floor

The Junk Nest wanted something different, so she painted a chevron pattern on her floor. It's hard to tell that this floor was once tile!

How to Make Wool Dryer Balls

Learn how to make wool dryer balls.

About a year ago, I bought some wool dryer balls. Since then, my mother, mother-in-law, sister-in-laws, and sisters have seen them and asked about them. I definitely notice a difference in drying time when I use them. I've thought about getting some for the women in my family, but they can be pretty pricey. However, The Seasoned Homemaker has a tutorial to make your own. I think I just added something else to my list of things to make!

Aluminum Tape Feature Wall

I love this feature wall from Deeva Designs! It's made with tape, but it definitely doesn't look like it.

Adorable Knotted Baby Hats

Baby_Hats

One thing is perfectly clear with my children. They have big 'ol noggins! My youngest, who was 11 weeks early (so who is almost 1 year actually, but about 9.5 months adjusted), always falls within the 90-95th percentile for head circumference when they compare him to children his actual age (so other 1-year-olds, in this case). In fact, I ordered him a hat for Christmas and bought the 12-24 month size. I'll be lucky if it lasts him through the rest of this winter! So, I don't expect this next little peanut to be any different. Since she's going to be a winter baby, she's definitely going to need some hats. I might just do what Plucky's Second Thought did and make some so that I KNOW they'll fit.

Mason Jar Lid Wreath Ornaments

Mason Jar Lid Wreath Ornaments

I know, I know. Christmas is over. But these little ornaments from Sadie Seasongoods were just too cute not to share. And now, you have a whole year to save the rings and make some to hang on your tree!
