Play Kitchen Made From a Chair

You've probably seen play kitchens made from entertainment centers and drawers, but have you seen one made from a chair?   Over at Kicsi Haz you can see it.   However, you may have a hard time reading it because it is in a different language.  Maybe you can use Google Translate or something like that!   Pretty cool chair idea!!!!

Single Bloom Fabric Bouquet

I'm loving this single bloom bouquet from Owl Really. She used as her bridal bouquet! I could see many other uses for it. In a smaller size, it would look beautiful as a clippie for hair, a necklace, bag or shirt!

Everything about these framed winter paper art is just so cute. It would look fun on a bookshelf, table or mantle. It would make an easy afternoon project! Sweet Little Bluebird has the connections to the tutorials!

Desk Into Towering Dresser!!!!

Gail, the repurposing genius at My Repurposed Life turned a desk into a very tall dresser. I've looked for tall dressers/chest. They are either non-existent or very, very expensive. Now, I want to try to find a desk that this idea would work for! Totally Awesome!

Toilet Target

Cleaning the toilet (and surrounding area) was much less work before my 3-yr old son learned he could stand to go pee! Now...it is much more involved! Anybody experience this too? I understand why some women want a urinal in their house!

I love what House Of Noise has done to her toilet. She put a vinyl target in the toilet. Genius! Idea of the YEAR!!!! Not only would it hopefully help my son aim better, I know all my guests would get a great laugh! Anyone else in on this idea?

Take In a Baggy Sweater

I have quite a few sweaters in a box that I dont' wear anymore because they are very baggy. I've thought about trying to take them in, but was scared I would ruin them. Now that DIY Home Sweet Home has successfully done it and it looks AMAZING, I'm going to try! (Actually, this sweater was her husband's and she made it her own!!!!)

New Years Resolutions Advice and Printables

Declutter Your House

Another goal I have is to declutter my house!   I have so much "stuff" that it is overwhelming!  Anyone else out there like me?   This house from Beaux R'eves shows a great example of what cutting some clutter out of a room in your house can do for the appearance.  The first example isn't so bad, but the room rearranged and simplified is so beautiful.

Resolution #1 - Get Organized

So I know you are all dying to know what the first post of 2012 will be (LOL!).   I decided I better find something that goes along with my resolutions and goals.   Chances are that about 90% of us have common goals:  get organized, cut out clutter, lose holiday weight gain from over indulgence of sweets, exercise.....
