Upside-Down Tomato Planters

Like I mentioned, my garden the past few years hasn't gone well.   I've seen some VERY successful upside-down tomato planters in my days.   I'm wondering if this will keep the deer from eating the plants so I actually could get some tomatoes:)   Garden Therapy shows you how to make these!

    It will be really interesting to see if these work...hope they do 'cause there's nothing like the taste of "real" tomatoes.
