Lovely Laundry Rooms

Welcome to the
Laundry Room
Categorically Crafting Show
where you can show off the projects, ideas, traditions and tips you use for creating your dream laundry room. Dig through your archives or link a recent post. Share your laundry room ideas with us. Here are a few that I've found floating out there!

Tatertots and Jello has done it again! This time, she has made her laundry room covet-worthy! The two different colors of cabinets and the stenciled wall are my favorite parts. See more details of the stenciled wall laundry room.

I love the painted stripes and under counter lighting in this laundry room at Tell'er All About It! So pretty! See the striped laundry room

.

What do you notice about this "real person" laundry room at House of Smith's? (I call it a "real person" laundry room because this is what most people have. It's not the size of a bedroom or garage - like in magazines.) First, I notice the chandelier. How attractive and classy is that? That glams up the whole laundry room. Next, I notice the darling shelf with decor items - not boxes of soap and junk that I have on my shelves. I think this room is dreamy!!! See the chandelier laundry room.

If you haven't seen this "real person" laundry room around the yet, you have been missing out. Not only is it doable, but

Show N' Tell shares how she made the STORAGE below the washer and dryer. Those drawers cost over $100 a piece. Save yourself money and build your own. I think you could also look at that cute door over the shelf and recreate that too. See the lovely laundry room.

It is too hard to get one picture to show off this laundry room at Junk Style because it is HUGE!!! I love this old door turned coat rack on one side of the room! See this beautiful laundry room!
Please join your crafty post if, and only if, it corresponds with the category and theme of Lamps. (If it doesn't fit in this category, please link it up to Whatever Goes Wednesday.) Link up crafts, decor, sewing projects, food, tips, etc, that has to do with laundry room. If you have joined a laundry room project to a party on my blog before, feel free to add it to this show too! If you have a lot of mirror projects, please choose your favorites. (Please no more than 4 posts per blog). Link to the specific posts, not to your main blog page.

Let's see what you have created (either recently or in the past)!

You can paste the "Categorically Crafting" button onto your blog post. I would love to see these floating around so more people can post their themed projects. I will leave this linky post open until next CC Show. Keep checking back for more ideas!!!
The next 3 Categorically Crafting Shows are as follows:

Oct. 1 - Candy Corn
Oct. 8 - Disney
Oct. 15 - Monsters and Spiders

(If you haven't gone back to see last week's Dollar Store Crafts show, you must see the rest of the ideas linked up throughout the week. See them HERE.)

  3. I drool over laundry rooms--even tini-tiny ones. I have the back wall of the garage--crammed between the hot water heater and freezer, under the electrical box and some scary looking wires and plugs. But one day....

  4. You knew that I wanted this right? :) I have a "real person" sized laundry room and it's even smaller than these shown here. It's horrible and I'm looking for ideas!

  5. Love the laundry room ideas - Sometimes I just want to push all the walls out 2 feet, add a charming mud room, oh you name it. I just dont have the funds or the space in the adjoining rooms to do it!
