American Flag Candle Log

Almost Free American Flag Candle Log Tutorial

I'll be honest, I haven't even started thinking about decoration for the upcoming patriotic holidays. Hasn't even crossed my mind. Until I saw this gorgeous candle holder from Redhead Can Decorate. Isn't it just breath taking? With everything that's been going on, I didn't decorate for fall, barely decorated for Christmas, and completely missed Easter and spring. I need to get my summer stuff out ASAP!

I love when someone can take something unusual and turn it into something so cool! Artsy VaVa did just that when she turned these bed springs into candle holders. What a unique idea!

DIY Glittered Candles

http://www.thecraftyscientist.com/2013/11/diy-glittered-candles.html

The Crafty Scientist made these glittered candles for her Thanksgiving table. I think the sparkle and the glitter would really help glam them up and make the table look a little more fancy pants.

Summertime Categorically Crafting Highlights

Our Summertime Categorically Crafting Party is in full swing! Here are a few of my favorites!

The Scrap Shoppe created an awesome tutorial for creating your own PVC Pipe Car Wash - and she even added an extra element. Go see what it is!

Do you ever crave a yummy s'more, but lack the ability to just light a fire in your backyard? I think most people probably have a grill of some sort, but we don't. This idea to use Terra Cotta Pots to make S'mores is genius! We'll definitely be adding this idea from My World Made By Hand to our summer fun list.

Here's a fun idea from Christina's Adventures to help you add some light to those dark summer nights on the porch or deck. These Mason Jar Candles look so easy to make!

Green Acres Hobby Farm used her GPS to find some new summer fun! What a cool idea to get out and explore your area a bit more!

If you haven't check out the Summertime Categorically Crafting Party yet, you definitely should. You've got plenty of time to come add your own links to the party too!
