I just wanted to take a quick minute and wish all of the mothers out there a Happy Mother's Day! It doesn't matter if your children are grown, if you're just starting out, or if you're somewhere in between. Or maybe you've never had the opportunity to have your own, or you've had to send a child back to heaven. We can all be mothers, grand mothers, mother figures, or just the best darn aunties out there.
I feel so blessed to be the mommy of these two littles. They make life crazy and chaotic, but they also make life wonderful. I wouldn't trade being a mom for anything else in the world.
Thanks for joining us here at Someday Crafts. We love you all!!

We just wanted to take a minute and wish everyone out there a Happy Mother's Day!! It doesn't matter if your children are grown, still toddlers, or anywhere in between; or if you're a soon-to-be mommy or wishing to be a mommy in the future. We know that you have the power to influence the world, and all of the children in the world, for good - and isn't that what motherhood is all about?
We also wanted to brighten your day, so here are a few funnies to give you a laugh!
Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom created this gorgeous frame for $1! How awesome is that!? Mother's Day is this Sunday, but you've still got time to create something special like this for any of the special ladies in your life.
Lemon Tree Dwelling has a cute idea for a vase for Mother's Day. This is easy enough that the kiddos can create one for grandma or even easy enough that Dad could supervise while the kiddos make one for Mom.
There's still time to create something for Mother's Day and this block from Burton Avenue might be just the thing. She even has the cut file for free on her blog! How awesome is that?!
Here's another cute and easy Mother's Day gift! Momasaurus created a necklace pendant using a thumbprint. I know my hubby probably wouldn't be able to pull this off for me, but I could definitely make it for myself!
I'm really impressed with the vinyl from Cricket Vinyl Supplies, especially with the transfer tape. Other transfer tape (from other companies) that I've used has the grid lines on the paper backing, but not on the sticky paper. Cricket Vinyl Supplieshas transfer tape with grid lines on the sticky paper which makes transferring projects and lining them up SOOOOOO much easier, in my opinion. The vinyl is also really easy to weed and work with, which is very important when crafting.
-Oil/Vinegar Dispenser (I purchased mine from Wal-Mart for about $3)
I created my text in the Silhouette Studio.
I used a font called CF Jack Story (don't ask me where I downloaded it from). To fit on my dispenser, I sized it to about 4.5" x 1.7". I changed the line spacing also to make the letters closer together.
After creating it, I used my Silhouette to cut the vinyl and used the transfer tape to transfer the vinyl to the glass dispenser. Make sure to clean the glass dispenser well so that there isn't any dirt under the vinyl to keep it from sticking.
And here she is in her rightful place on the counter. I actually made two of these, one for my mom and one for me. I liked the idea so much as I was making one of her, that I decided I wanted one too!
And because I think we need more honesty in the blogging world, this is what my counter ACTUALLY looked like as I was taking pictures. Yup. Just keepin' in real. :)

This necklace from The Crafted Sparrow reminds me of those amazing (but super expensive) Origami Owl necklaces. I just think these are so perfect for a mommy missing her little ones or even for a grandmother or any other motherly figure.
If your slacking like me in the Mother's Day Gift department, be grateful for Eighteen25 for creating some quick and beautiful last minute gifts. Just print these babies out, frame them and give them! That's what I love! These quotes are just too awesome not to share.
