Glittery Easter Egg Topiary

Normally, I despise the crazy basket grass. When you try and use it in a basket, it just clumps together. And if you put anything small on top of it (like candy), it always end up falling into it, then you have to dig through it and the grass gets all over. And I have to pull out my vacuum and clean it up. Who's got time for that? But this topiary from Missy Inspired is just too cute. I might be willing to get a bag of that annoying grass just to make this.

Quilled Paper Flower Topiaries

Pin It  I've seen topiaries made out of real flowers and they are gorgeous, but...they die!   Suzy's Artsy Craftsy Sitcom created some beautiful topiaries made from paper quilled flowers that won't die!!!  Yeah!  Not to mention that you can get paper that matches the colors that you want.

Rice Krispy Easter Edibles!

I love ideas like this table full of rice krispy edibles that pass for themed decor and treats. The topiary, easter basket, chicks, flowers and decorative balls in the apothecary jar are all edible. (Click on the image above to see them in greater detail.)

How fun would that be for a party or to do with your kids?!?! You can read more about this display and get the recipe over at Cute As A Fox.

5 More Party Highlights

.

Every week, I am stunned by the magnificent projects linked up to the Whatever Goes Wednesday party. If I had more time, I would highlight more links each weeks. Here are a few more I had to mention.

This display of ascending
bunny topiaries is ADORABLE. I love it in front of the frame to center it! See it at I-Candy Handmade.
.

To go along with the spring flower garland yesterday, I had to include this fabulous crocheted Easter egg garland by Mama Michie's Musings. Cute!

.
The thing I love about this weathered wood sign is how the words are between the slats! Great twist to a sign which rocks!!!! See how to make this at Whipperberry!

.

I'm sucker for 2x4 projects. All three of these make me happy! The 2x4 feathered chick and bunnies are from Craft Goodies. The fuzzy sheep was created by Giggles Galore.

.

This huge slat wall art would look amazing on a big wall that needs some color and design. I love how The Polka-Dot Umbrella hung it in her house with colored frames on the opposite wall to correspond with these colors! Awesome!

3 Conversation Heart Ideas!!!

.
I have to admit that I don't LOVE to eat conversation hearts! I just don't think they taste very good. I do, however, like the conversation heart crafts out there. Here are 3 I like!!!
With a bag or two of conversation hearts, you can make these awesome Valentine's cone! Our Forever House made them look fantastic on candlesticks!
.
.

This wreath made out of conversation hearts needs to be at my house! Thrifty 101 made this wreath into a Valentine's rockstar wreath!
.
.

Or you can make some endearing conversation heart topiaries like Simply Crafty! Make them big or small. Group them in threes or leave them by themselves! They look great no matter what you do with them.
