How to hand embroider shoes

Quilting is such a beautiful hobby! This bright, colorful picture box quilt at Fairy Face Designs makes me want to make one. One of the things I love about quilts are all the different fun, rich fabrics one can use to make just one quilt - like in this one!
ALSO, Amy and some other bloggers are putting together a
social event for all bloggers who would like meet other bloggers during the Internation Quilt Market on May 14 in the evening. I have no idea what that is, but the social for bloggers (not really connected to "Market") sounds really fun! Amy assured me you don't have to be quilter to attend the social. I am trying really hard to attend and I would love to meet other bloggers. Go to this post to learn more about the party!

I actually think I could make a quilt like this. Mummy Crafts shows us how to make a simple strip baby quilt! I gotta try this!!!

Turn an old bedspread or "quilt" looking fabric into a quilt bulletin board! Or make a quilt front just for this project.

This is a quilted Christmas tree skirt. But I think it could pass as a baby quilt (if you didn't cut a place for the tree.) Go HERE to see this tutorial.

I've always wanted to do something with all the t-shirts I have collected over the years from races I've run and the schools I've attended. Here is a perfect idea! Make a cool t-shirt collage quilt. Looks like fun! Craftzine has the instructions.
Quilt the letters of the alphabet for your little ones or just for decoration. Happy Together shares her inspiration with us! Click HERE for the PDF files to download the letter patterns:) Thanks, Jessica!!!
