Christmas Stockings Tutorial

http://so-sew-easy.com/christmas-stockings-tutorial/

Naptime Crafters and So Sew Easy have a great tutorial for making your own stockings. I purchased fabric last year to make some but never got around to it. I suppose I should, since there's only a month until Christmas!

2x4 Stocking Hangers

My stockings are hung from my mantle with a push pin in the wood! (NOT A GOOD IDEA!!!) I love this simple idea for stocking hangers made from 2x4's. They are cute and easy! These ones that look like presents are from Sugar Bee.

The original 2x4 stocking holders came from Crap I've Made. They have a monogrammed letter! I love both ideas!

I would recommend using these only when the stockings are empty! I doubt they are heavy enough to hold filled stockings.

Drop Cloth Christmas

I've seen all sorts of things made from drop cloths. Window treatments, chair covers, skirts! What about having a drop cloth Christmas? What can you make? Here's two ideas!!!

A tree skirt with ruffles would be a great choice to make from a drop cloth. Shanty2Chic made this one HERE.

With the left over drop cloth, you could make a stocking or two! This one is from Shanty2Chic again. Make it by following the tutorial found HERE.
