What Can You Do With Ties? (Updated)

What can you do with ties? These are some ideas I found.
Create a unique lampshade with colorful ties. (Actually, you would do one with drab or monochromatic ties too!) This great ideas was done by A Very Blessed Nest. Click HERE.

Who would have thought to make a funky, interesting wreath out of ties? Not me, but I definitely like the look of this wreath. Even though this was made for Christmas, you could change the colors for any holiday or decor. Found HERE at the Michael's Christmas contest. If you missed this post, you missed out. My Kind of Wonderful made ties into stylish headbands. Go HERE to see how.

Make a purse using your husband's old neck ties. HERE is the tutorial at Craftster.
HERE is a long skirt made from ties at Instructables. I think this shorter skirt made using this tutorial HERE on Craftster.
Make a little boys ties from an adult necktie. Keeping It Simple has the tutorial HERE.
How do you like making "feathers" from neckties? I could see a few different uses for these.
Or how about making a brooch from ties? All those flowers that are so popular right now could be made from ties. The two pictures above were found at Cut Out and Keep. CLick HERE to see how the last two were made.
This is a scarf made from neckties. This could be really cute with some ties all of the same color palate. Find the tutorial HERE at Craftstylish.

AS I was finishing my search for necktie projects, I CAME ACROSS THIS BLOG, CALLED ARTFUL TIES -MAKING ART FROM MEN'S NECKTIES. You need to see the projects on HERE. Girls clothes, quilts, formal dresses, chairs, etc. GO HERE NOW. This is necktie Heaven!

If you have any more projects for ties, leave a comment with a link and I might add it to this post.!
