Windows, Windows and more Windows

Old windows are everywhere! They make everything more beautiful! Let's see a few old windows decor ideas that I love!

Little Big Nest has some of the most beautiful uses of windows in her house. Her mantles are gorgeous. This is her summer mantle. Don't you love the windows in the background? Go HERE.

HERE is another use of an old window in Little Big Nest's foyer. Beautiful! (This blog is full of eye candy. Go visit and drool through the posts!)

I'm Topsy Turvy made her old window into a cute little coffee table. Absolutely dah-ling! See how she transformed it HERE.

This old window became a beautiful piece of wall art using different types of papers. Made by The Crafty Nest. For this old window wall art, go HERE.

This old window was painted directly upon to make it appear as though it is framing a flag. How fun is that? The Creative Crate came up with this idea! Go HERE.

Old windows serve as great frames and look great when hanging wreaths and objects from them. This old chippy window frame is found at House of Smiths. Go HERE.

If you don't have an old window, but want one, VISIT AN ANTIQUE STORE!!! Old windows will run anywhere from $5.00 up too $100. Expect to pay more for one that is not broken and has dividers. I still have 4 windows without dividers left to sell. They cost $7-$10. If you are interested in them, email me or leave me a comment.

Please join your crafty post if, and only if, it corresponds with the category and theme of OLD WINDOWS(If it doesn't fit in this category, please link it up to Whatever Goes Wednesday.) Link up crafts, decor, sewing projects, food, tips, etc, that has to do with OLD WINDOWS. If you have joined a OLD WINDOWS project to a party on my blog before, feel free to add it to this show too! If you have a lot of mirror projects, please choose your favorites. (Please no more than 4 posts per blog). Link to the specific posts, not to your main blog page.

Let's see what you have created (either recently or in the past)!

You can paste the "Categorically Crafting" button onto your blog post. I would love to see these floating around so more people can post their themed projects. I will leave this linky post open until next CC Show. Keep checking back for more ideas!!!
The next 3 Categorically Crafting Shows are as follows

July 30 - Headbands

  3. I have a friend who has an old window that she uses as a collage style frame. I don't have a picture, or have a tutorial for it- Sorry! But it is so dang cute, and I wish I had the time to figure it out. Maybe somebody might have something similar already, and will link it up. :)
