Want to brighten up and enlarge a room by adding windows where you don't currently have them? You've got to check out this idea from Chic and Lovely. She purchased some mirrored windows (you can make your own if you don't want to buy them too) and created "windows" where she wished she had them.
.
So beautiful! So warm! So inexpensive (compared to cutting out walls to install new windows)!!! You must see the before and after to see the dramatic improvement these mirrored windows make! Idea hosted at DIY Showoff!

Chic and Lovely indeed... Love it
ReplyDeleteI have one of these on the large expanse of wall as I walk down the stairs... but after looking at this it looks like I need another one... or two... because the stacked look is SO much better!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for featuring my mirrored windows!!! I really do love how they add to my room - I've been trying to figure out what to put on this particular wall for 3 years and finally found the perfect solution :)
ReplyDeleteLove this idea!!
ReplyDeleteOh, I now know what to do with the north wall of my foyer!
ReplyDeleteDo you have any way of finding out what the color was on their walls? I love that warm color!
ReplyDeleteWhat is the paint color of this room, do you know the name?
ReplyDeleteYou'll need to go to Chic & Lovely (the link is provided in the post) and ask them about the color they used. This isn't our project, just a project we've featured from another blog.
DeleteI like the idea and I like the wall color. Would you give me the wall color?
