Pristine Photo Giveaway

Hello Crafters!

I am thrilled to be visiting here today. Michelle and I met bout 8 years ago in college. It has been fun to watch each other start families and see our kids grow up and play together. I really appreciate her letting me post on Someday Crafts; I've seen a lot of really cute ideas here, from a lot of incredibly creative people!

A little about me...
My name is Tina Ernstsrom. I am SAHM to 3 adorable kids (that keep me on my toes), and one hunky husband! I am owner and photographer at Pristine Photo, in Cache Valley, Utah.

Tina - Photographer Pristine Photo

I started a photography business in 2005, taking photos on location and with pinned up backdrops in an unfinished room in my basement. Since then I've worked primarily word of mouth. About 2 years ago, we sold our home, moved to a small apartment, had our third child, and began construction on our new home. Its been a wild couple of years, during which my website was severely neglected. I continued to schedule occasional weddings or portrait sessions, but not at the same frequency as before.

About 2 months ago, I got an e-mail from a potential bride informing me that my website had been hacked and was linking to unmentionable content. I was horrified! I knew the site had been neglected, but didn't realize that things had gotten that out of hand. I pulled the site down and immediately began work redesigning it. My brilliant husband used his mad programming skills to turn my sketches into a beautiful and functional website! I've spent the last few weeks uploading images, copying over old blog entries from the hacked site, and creating a facebook presence. And now I'm ready to jump back in full speed ahead!

To celebrate the launch of the new website, I'm hosting a giveaway here on Someday Crafts!!!

One (or maybe more) lucky winner will receive a FREE portrait session of their choice (including CD of High Resolution images)!

HOW TO ENTER (Mandatory to be entered):

1. Visit http://pristinephoto.com/ and leave a comment here (on Someday Crafts) describing one of your favorite images from the portfolio, and tell us which type of portrait sitting you would choose if you win (Family, newborn, child, etc..)

2. "Like" Pristine Photo on facebook!

For additional entries...

1. "Share" about this giveaway on facebook or twitter

2. Post something on your blog about this giveaway, linking back to Someday Crafts and Pristine Photo.

Leave a separate comment here for each additional entry.

AND, Here's the best part...
An additional winner will be chosen for every 100 facebook fans we have at the end of the giveaway! So share, share, share!!
( 100 total likes = 2 winners, 200 likes = 3 winners, etc.. )

Winner(s) will be chosen at random on Monday, June 20th! Best of luck! (The winner must live in Cache Valley, be willing to travel to Cache Valley for the photo shoot OR be charged for mileage if outside Cache Valley.)

TRADE ME or DISCOUNT

Now, to make things even sweeter!!
I've been working with a couple of crafters individually to get some props and accessories made in trade for photography work. And I figured that I may as well open things up to you guys as well!! I am hoping to have the studio space in our new home finished by next winter and I'm beginning my search for furniture, props, and accessories to stock the studio with. I have some things that I love, and I've commissioned some others, but there are still plenty of things I have my eye on... I'm specifically looking for vintage kitchen scales; vintage suitcases, chairs, etc; a wooden ladder back chair; newborn nest; various hair accessories; child/doll sized furniture; and various baskets, pots, or apple boxes for posing. I am certainly open to other things and ideas, so if you think you have something that would work, or know how to build or make stuff... contact me... show me what you have in mind... and let's trade!!

Someday Craft readers that don't want to trade, can take 10% off any portrait or wedding session by mentioning this blog post! (Valid through July 31, 2011)

Thanks again, Michelle, for letting me stop in! And thanks to all of you readers too! Good luck to you all on the giveaway!!

  8. I live in Weber County and would be honored to travel your way! Such lovely pictures. You capture so many details (just leave out my grey hair and wrinkles and we will be friends forever). We are a "smaller family" but it would be great to have such nice shots of everyone.
