How cute are these jack-o-laterns made from oranges? There are so many reasons I would prefer these over large pumpkins!!! Cost, mess, size, scent and more! Suzy's Artsy-Crafty Sitcomshows you how to make them.
Might I warn you, though they are very cute, they are VERY time consuming. My husband and I made them for a little Halloween party we threw and instead of cutting the faces all the way through etched in the faces and filled them with ice cream. It took us 4 hours to make 8! That was 1 an hour for each of us.:) Yes etching probably took longer than just cutting all the way through, but it was scooping out the insides that was most of the work.
ooh, those are super cute. And you can eat the inside! :)
ReplyDeletewow-never seen that before! what a great idea!
