Below are some of my favorites in my archives and other new ones I have found.
Use one of your t-shirts to make a tutu skirt! What little girl wouldn't be smitten with this? See how to create this at Treasures for Tots. GO HERE.
This ruffly cardigan to go with an outfit is so adorable. And was made from a t-shirt! True Story!!! Learn how to make it HERE at Craft Stylish!
Kojo Designs restyles a plain t-shirt into this beautiful and ruffly child's dress. My daughter would look so cute running around in it!!! Go HERE to see the tutorial
Turn your son's favorite t-shirts into trunks when he outgrows them. HERE is the tutorial at Nancy's Couture!
Made from lots of different shirts, this monster shirt rocks! See more about it HERE at Get Your Craft On.
That's enough to get you started!!! Let's see what you have. Please add your crafty post if, and only if, it corresponds with the category and theme of T-SHIRTS! (If it doesn't fit in this category, please link it up to Whatever Goes Wednesday.) Link up crafts, decor, sewing projects, tips, etc, that has to do with T-SHIRTS! If you have a lot of t-shirt projects, please choose your favorites. (Please no more than 4 posts per blog). Link to the specific posts, not to your main blog page. I'm excited to see all the inventive ideas out there.
I still have a generic "Categorically Crafting" button for you to save and paste onto your blog post. Of course, I would love to see these floating around so more people can post their themed projects. I'm working on getting a tool bar across the top of my blog with a "Categorically Crafting" link. Hopefully in the next week or two, some changes will happen. I will leave this linky post open until the next Categorically Crafting Show on Friday. Keep checking back for more ideas!!!
The next 3 Categorically Crafting Shows are as follows:
March 26 - Easter
April 2 - Nest
April 9 - Spring
Start preparing to add an entry to these.
I have found a new way to link (via Somewhat Simple). It allows everyone to see a thumbnail view of your project. I love it! It takes an extra couple of seconds, but I think it will be a huge asset to the show. Let me know if you like it or if you prefer the list without pictures.
How fun! I love this category, I can't wait to see what everyone has done with their t-shirts. Also, I love the new linky with the thumbnail photos.
ReplyDeleteI really like the format of the link party. It's nice to see what you're going to click on. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I too love this category. There are so many fun things to do with T-shirts! I have to go create a few posts tonight so I can link up a few more of my T-shirt crafts. :)
Blessings-
Sarah
