Since we celebrated Earth Day this week, I thought we should see a few "recycling" ideas. This week, let's see what we create with all the can we (hopefully) are recycling. Tin cans, formula cans, paint cans, pop cans, garbage cans, and other kinds of cans! What are you using yours for? Here are a few I've found!
Turn your ugly cans into a feminine flower vase with a little spray paint and ribbon. Snippets of Wonderful is the artist of this vase. Go HERE.
Use your pop cans to make flower brooches. Learn how to make these HERE at Crafts Unleashed.

Wrap your cans in twine to give them trendy and beautiful look. See this at Brown Paper Packages. Go HERE.
These used to be soup cans!!!! Don't you love the transformation? See how to transform drab into beauty. Go HERE to Me Making Do.

See how The Scrap Shoppe turned an old peanut can into a scrapbook can. Love this idea! GO HERE.

Transform your formula cans into handy utensil and gadget holders. See this at Small Fry and Co. Go HERE.

Using paint cans filled with themed items are great for gifts. See this article and some ideas you can use with altered paint cans HERE at Craft Critique!

Lastly, I totally had to include this hilarious idea from Not Just Paper and Glue. She spray painted her garbage can and added some feminine ribbon to it. This is the CUTEST dog food container I have ever seen. I seriously think this is so cool. (But my husband would never let me do this IF we had a dog.) GO HERE.

Please join your crafty post if, and only if, it corresponds with the category and theme of CANS! (If it doesn't fit in this category, please link it up to Whatever Goes Wednesday.) Link up crafts, decor, sewing projects, food, tips, etc, that has to do with CANS! If you have a lot of CAN projects, please choose your favorites. (Please no more than 4 posts per blog). Link to the specific posts, not to your main blog page. I'm excited to see how you creatively use cans around your house!!!

You can paste the "Categorically Crafting" button onto your blog post. I would love to see these floating around so more people can post their themed projects. I will leave this linky post open until next CC Show. Keep checking back for more ideas!!!
The next 3 Categorically Crafting Shows are as follows:

April 30 - Toilet Paper Roll Crafts (Save those rolls and make something fun!!!)
May 7 - Mother's Day Gifts/Projects
May 14- Twine

  7. Such a fun category! I love recycling/repurposing stuff. I have a huge stack of formula cans I've been stashing, but haven't had time to make something up yet. Darn! I wish I had, 'cuz I wanna party. :) lol. Thanks for a fun party. I'm impressed with how many links there are. Happy Weekend!

    Blessings-
    Sarah
