My nieces had a
towel wrap like this one for the beach last year. I loved it and wanted one for my daughter. They could take it off and put it on themselves because of the velcro. This swimsuit cover is made from a beach towel.
From The Hive has a tutorial for it. GO
HERE for the towel wrap dress.
OR you can make this beach towel dress from
MADE!!! So cute! See the tutorial
HERE.

How cute!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great project!
ReplyDeleteWow, this is so cute!! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI was so excited to meet you!!!! Too bad I have no wonderful crafts to add to your blog...maybe someday!
ReplyDeleteThis is great! I have been given original vintage towewlling fabric with purple and brown flowers and this would be a great use for it :) Thanx!
ReplyDeletethanks for featuring my towel wrap. I am grabbing your button.
ReplyDeleteI've been working on something similar for my kiddos- got the idea from Martha Stewart- towel ponchos. I'm adding a hood to mine since my kiddos are littles still. :) It's taking me a long time to make them because my machine does NOT like terrycloth! lol. I'm glad to find a few other tutorials similar, so maybe I can get a few tips on sewing this stuff. Thanks for sharing the ideas.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sarah
