Welcome to the BACK 2 SCHOOL Categorically Crafting Show where you can show off the projects, ideas, traditions and tips you use for back to school. Dig through your archives or link a recent post. Share your school ideas with us. Here are a few that I've found floating out there!
Make a mushroom lunchbag in which your child can take his/her lunch. Check out the tutorial from A Lemon Squeezy Home. Or you could make a regular lunch bag using this tutorial if you don't want a mushroom one!
With that lunchbag, make some sandwich bags to go inside of them. Aren't these ones from Noodlehead so cute? See the reusable sandwich bag tutorial.
Make a homework station so most of the school supplies are in one place using this idea from Roots And Wings Co. It's so nice to be organized!
Establish a morning rountine from the beginning of school and make those morning go more smoothly. Download these morning routine card printables from Living Locurto to make your life easier.
Start the school year off right with this after school routine printable also from Living Locurto. Get that homework out of the way before the kids eat and play. Create your own after school schedule card.
Minimize hearing "Mom, how many days until school starts?" Help your kids school countdown to the first day of school by making a chain! See how Brassy Apple did this with her child going into Kindergarten.
These apple cupcakes look so delicious! I'm starting to salivate as I look at them! See the easy way to make these at Kara's Cupcakes! Perfect for Back 2 School!

Please join your crafty post if, and only if, it corresponds with the category and theme of BACK 2 SCHOOL. (If it doesn't fit in this category, please link it up to Whatever Goes Wednesday.) Link up crafts, decor, sewing projects, food, tips, etc, that has to do with BACK 2 SCHOOL. If you have joined a BACK 2 SCHOOL project to a party on my blog before, feel free to add it to this show too! If you have a lot of mirror projects, please choose your favorites. (Please no more than 4 posts per blog). Link to the specific posts, not to your main blog page.
Let's see what you have created (either recently or in the past)!
You can paste the "Categorically Crafting" button onto your blog post. I would love to see these floating around so more people can post their themed projects. I will leave this linky post open until next CC Show. Keep checking back for more ideas!!!

ReplyDeleteThanks for linking! You are great!
ReplyDeleteThanks for hosting.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up my homework station! It's going on it's second year of use! Now we had to put it in a homework corner I just made, because we now have 3 doing homework! And it is still just as useful!

Thanks for hosting... :)
ReplyDeleteI linked up my "Back 2 School Binder: Mommy's Homework Edition". It's a must have for any mommy wanting to stay on top of it all - and it's my secret weapon for holding it together! There's a tutorial, pics and a free printable for the cover.
Have a great weekend,
Colette

My bookmarks were made for my shop, but you could use other stamps that the kids like - they could do their own stamping! Butterflies, sports themes, any stamps you have!
