Mother's Day is in TWO DAYS! Most of you have probably already made the gifts you are giving. If you haven't made anything yet, hopefully you will get some easy, quick ideas of what you can make in the next two days. There are SO MANY amazing Mother's Day projects out there. Here are just a few I've seen.Make your mom a handmade card using scrap material and your sewing machine! It doesn't get much better than that! Aren't these simple cards made at Kojo Designs adorable? Go HERE to see more about them.

HERE is a gift for all you procrastinators out there (like me!) Just a few common ingredients mixed together and you have a sweet smelling scrub for those ruff areas on our bodies. Under The Table and Dreaming has the recipes for a Lemon Sugar Scrub HERE and Vanilla Brown Sugar Scrub HERE. My mom would love either of these!

If you're looking to sew something beautiful and feminine, check out this bouquet of flowers shirt at Ruffles and Stuff. You (and your mom) would look classy and delicate in this type of shirt. Go HERE.
If your mother is a grandmother, this seriously is the perfect gift! Remind her of all her family members (kids, grandkids, great-grandkids) and their birthdays with this fun birthday board. See it HERE from A Little Bit of This...A Little Bit of That while she guest posts at Poppies At Play.
This is one gift a mom would absolutely cherish! Pictures of her kids spelling their favorite word. Make it for your sister (with pictures of her kids, silly) or tell your husband to do it for you! Visit Ready, Set, Create to read more about it! GO HERE.

Every mom loves some accessories!!! I love this brooch with three different kind of flowers. Pin on a shirt or bag, it's gorgeous! Go HERE to The Scrap Shoppe to see how to make it!

Pamper mom by making her some spa-like slippers and giving her a pedicure! A nice long massage would be nice too! See how to make these at Pickup Some Creativity. Go HERE.

Please join your crafty post if, and only if, it corresponds with the category and theme of Mother's Day. (If it doesn't fit in this category, please link it up to Whatever Goes Wednesday.) Whatever Goes Wednesday #12 (And A Fun Announcement)

Welcome to another Whatever Goes Wednesday!!! Happy Cinco De Mayo! Instead of having a Cinco De Mayo round-up, I am just inviting you to read about the party I threw for my neighbors last year HERE. No party this year! I am too busy!!! I hope all of you are having a party or eating some yummy Mexican food!

I cannot wait to see what you inspiring crafters come up with today!! Every week is another week of wonderment and amazing ideas. I love this party!!

Last weeks most viewed post goes to...drumroll.......
UNDER THE TABLE AND DREAMING!!! Congrats!! You win homemade Chick Fil-A nuggets made by...your husband!! Did you check out this awesome post?? Brandy may have licked the screen a time or two, but don't tell her husband, he might get mad!! And Michelle made these last week. They are DELISH!!!! I could eat them once a week with that yummy sauce!!! If you haven't made them...it should be what is for dinner this next week sometime!!!

mmm....I am getting hungry now!!

I HAVE A NEW ANNOUNCEMENT! Each week I will be adding a blog tip to this party. The tip will usually be posted by Kim (the techy guru behind this blog). Her blog is 733 - A Creative Blog. I will tell you the tip on this in post and send you over to her blog where it is posted. This is a great way to learn the how-to's of blogging. Won't it be fun to do a little something special to your blog each week? I can't wait to see how your blog (and mine) improves!!!

This week's blog tip is: Creative Comments Title! Go HERE to read and see how to change the boring comment title to something more personable. I'm changing mine now!!!

Don't forget to check out the Giveaway Directory tomorrow! It amazes me how few people enter giveaways. This is your chance at free stuff! FYI, this link is only open for one day. If you are going to do a giveaway and want to feature it here, make sure you link it up sometime on Thursday.

I am SO EXCITED for this week's Categorically Crafting show on Friday. The theme is Mother's Day Gifts/Projects! Have you seen these floating around? I have and I want to see more. It's not too late to make something. The link will be open all week. Come back on Friday to see everyone's creativity.

You know what to do. Enter your project (up to 4 links), tip, idea, recipe, whatever. Visit others. Leave comments. Come back again in the next few days since more projects are added throughout the week. Let the fun begin! (I am sorry that I don't comment on every project linked up. I view every single one, but don't have 4 extra hours to make comments.)

Some Fun Ideas Out There!

I love old stuff!!  Well usually I like new stuff that looks old but look at this CAUTE census art:

I saw THIS over at Sleeping In An Unmade Bed
and thought it was too cute!  She has used a census with her grandparents on it as the background, how awesome is that!!  Make sure you check out her census art and the other projects she has to share!!
And how fun is this giant letter??  I think I could actually use this and it wouldn't cost us a dime, since it is all recycled (How Green!!)  Christy's Creative Chaos made this, so make sure you check out THIS project and more over there!!

And don't forget about Whatever Goes Wednesdays starting in a few hours...I can hardly wait!!
